Pony Club Mission:
The United States Pony Clubs, Inc., develops character, leadership, confidence and a sense of community in youth through a program that teaches the care of horses and ponies, riding and mounted sports.
And in the last decade, Pony Club has strengthened programming to meet the needs of equestrians of all ages. Pony Club now has opportunities for adult members and a large network of professionals, horse-savvy leaders, alumni, and volunteers.

The goal of Pony Club is to provide a program for youth and adults that teaches riding, mounted sports, and the care of horses and ponies. The Pony Club process develops responsibility, sound judgment, leadership and self-confidence. The goal is to ultimately produce well-rounded horsemen and women.
Yes, Pony Club is fun for its members, but that is not its sole purpose; the USPC has a serious mission to help produce adults who are knowledgeable, competent, responsible, and caring.
